Submerged Artificial Barrier for the Protection of a Submarine Energy Infrastructure at Porto Torres
A system of submerged artificial barriers was planned to be implemented to protect a submarine energy pipeline running from Tuscany to Porto Torres. Marine consultancy services were provided to investigate the potential impact of such a protection system on waves, currents and sediment transport.
