Construction Supervision
During the construction phase of a marine project, CWP Engineering can provide contract administration and technical supervision services to ensure quality production within the time frame and budget allocation.
During the construction operations, our supervision team acts on behalf of the Client to manage the site operations including:
• Resolution of all construction problems that may require qualified technical interpretations and prompt instructions to the Contractor(s)
• Preparation of clarification and / or drawings to supplement the contract documents to clarify any missing details and resolve any constructability problems
• Review of all submittals of shop drawings, calculations, insurances, warranty information, vendor prequalification, etc.
• Verification of materials and equipment furnished by the Contractor(s) and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
The supervision team is based on-site and provides daily inspection reports. Our head office always provides technical support on an as needed basis. Our site supervision team members are highly specialized engineers, surveyors, inspectors, contract managers and are led by the most experienced and qualified Resident Engineers (RE).
Our team provides assistance until the completion of works including final testing and supports all parties in the handover process by preparing the Taking Over Certificates.
